.Name. L'Arauna Moonflower Centauri
.Nickname. Arauna, Rauna, Moonflower
.Age. Her real age is unknown, but she looks in her mid to late twenties.
.Birthday. May 29
.Race. Trispecies Shapeshifter, a common species in a land far away from Alyssus, near the land of Dracania. A trispecies is able to morph into any three animals, one terra (land) animal, one aqua (water) animal, and one avia (sky) animal. Usually it's a mammal, bird, and either a fish or water reptile. In this case, Rauna can transform into a gray wolf, redbelly water snake, and barn owl. Usually, when a trispecies is born, they are only able to turn into one animal, usually their terra. At their blossoming age, usually about 12, they get their second animal, usually the avia. Finally, at their straying age, around 17 or 18, they get their last animal, which is usually the aqua. Though it is rare to get the aqua or avia at birth, there are certain people who it has happened to, like L'Arauna's father, who was born with the ability to morph into his avia, a golden eagle.
Allegiance: Neutral. Rauna doesn't believe in picking sides, though she may converse with and aid both sides if they are in need of it.
Profession/Rank: Rauna has no set rank, but she is skilled with healing, playing a reed flute, and singing.
.Hair. Rauna's hair is a deep blue, almost black, and hangs in soft curls at her hips. She tries to keep it brushed out and looking nice, but, with her constant traveling, it usually is matted and tangled.
.Eyes. That depends on what form she is in. In her human form, they are a sapphire blue. In her water snake form, they are a yellow-gold. In her wolf form, they are a bright amber. And in her owl form, they are a stark black.
.Physical Description. Once again, that depends on what form she's in. In her human form, she is a frail, sickly-looking woman clad in a flowing dark green robe. Around her head is a coronet of woven ivy leaves that she wears for no apparent reason. She always seems to be accompanied by a male gray wolf pup named Zweihander. Some say that the pup is her son, a result of force-breeding when she was in wolf form, while others think it was an orphan that she took into her care and raised as her own.
In her animal forms, she looks no different from the normal animal. Occasionally, she may not transform completely and she may end up wearing the crown of leaves or the robe when she transforms. If she steps away from the items and transforms back into a human, however, the clothes will not magically appear on her again, so, if it does happen, she does try to fix it as modestly as possible.

.Personality. Rauna is very kind to everyone she meets, and tries to stay calm even in the toughest situations. Sometimes, she may lose her cool in some really tough situations, like trying to heal ten dying people. She doesn't take death lightly, especially if she tries to nurse them back to health. If someone she tries to heal dies, she usually cries over them for a while, a week at most.
When she's around people she's unfamiliar with, she tends to be a bit more shy. However, if the person is wounded, she will be quick to offer to tend to their wounds. If they refuse, however, she can be persistant, even desperate, to help them. If they refuse still, she may even force them down and heal their wounds against their will. This is very rare, though, and she will only do this if she feels that it is necessary.

.Family.
.Father. Feofan Darkfeather Centauri
.Mother. Mariss Bloodflower Autana
.Siblings. L'Alayne Starfeather Centauri (Twin sister, deceased), Ilynarr Blackheart Centauri (Younger Brother)
.History. As a daughter of a well-to-do family, it seemed L'Arauna was going to live the cushy life in Alarath with her dear twin sister L'Alayne. The two were inseperable, almost seeming like one soul sharing two bodies. It seemed every time L'Alayne got sick, L'Arauna showed the same symptoms, and the two seemed to feel better at the same time. If one was hungry, so was the other. If one felt adventurous, so would the other. The two seemed to be like the same being but simply split in two and given seperate names. It seemed the two would always be together, keeping each other safe and watching over one another.
That is, until Ilynarr was born.
The younger brother of L'Arauna and L'Alayne, Illynar Blackheart Centauri, lived up to his middle name. Even when he was young, he was extremely mean. He hated his sisters with a passion, especially L'Alayne, who seemed to hover over him more than the rest of his family and kept his friends away. The now thirteen-year-old boy, with the ability to transform into a deadly Black Mamba, tried to kill L'Alayne many a time, just to have someone like L'Arauna or one of his parents interfere. The younger brother continued in his attempts to kill off the overly caring L'Alayne, until the night when he decided to not kill her physically, but mentally. Indeed. He was going to kill L'Arauna. One night, when L'Alayne was asleep and L'Arauna was on her way back from the family's library to go to bed as well. There, she saw the dark figure of a Black Mamba slithering down the hallway. It was her brother! Shocked, she had a feeling that he wanted to kill her. She turned into a gray wolf and tried to fend him off, but he kept coming at her, striking and barely missing each time.
The two continued their attack-dodge fight until they were near near L'Alayne's door. L'Arauna gave out a series of short yelps, which was enough to startle the girl from her bed and to fling open the door to see her brother trying to kill her dear twin sister. "L'Arauna!" she cried, before leaping forward and transforming into her terra animal, a red fox, and standing in between her sister and the striking snake. Ilynarr, already in striking position, had no time to maneuver around the red fox to get to the wolf behind her. His fangs sank into her flank and a loud yelping sound came from the fox's mouth. Seeing that he had actually killed the one he wished to in the first place, Illynar turned back into his human form and ran off. L'Arauna was too shocked to move as she saw her sister on the floor, dying from a deadly snake's bite. All she could do was turn into a human and cradle her sister's body as her last breaths escaped her mouth. Then and there, L'Alayne Starfeather Centauri died, cradled in the arms of the one she loved more than anyone else in the world.
Shaken by the death of her sister, L'Arauna began to see the world differently, seeing it as something beautiful. She made up a beautiful chant that made her feelings known to the world. When she finally came of Straying Age, Illynar came down with a terrible sickness, for which there was only one known cure: the essence of Lumen, a flower that grows only in Alyssus. Since she was the only one who was fit to embark on the long journey, L'Arauna was sent off with the clothes on her back, a reed flute, and the song of praise in her heart.
As she neared the land of Alyssus, she found the ruins of where a wolf pack once was. There, shivering in the center of the glade, was a small wolf pup, its eyes still cold, its pathetic cries reaching L'Arauna's ears. The very sight of the tiny pup tugged at her heartstrings and made her eyes water and fill with tears. "The little darling..." she whispered, picking up the pup and cradling it in her arms, like she did for L'Alayne when she died. "It'll be alright, little one... I'll take care of you..." she whispered. For three months, she took care of the pup in the same glade, ignoring her main task. The pup was now a healthy young male, and she decided to give him a name. Zweihander. It was a big sword, yes, but it was also a meaning for strength, courage, and righteousness. Once Zweihander was strong enough to be able to walk on his own, the two set out for Alyssus again.

"Praise for the high tide!
Praise for the seaside!
Praise for the sun at high noon!
Praise for the lightning!
Praise for the singing!
Praise the father sun
And sister moon...
Praise for the red dawn,
Grass that we walk upon,
Praise for the river's whispered tune.
Praise for the wind brother,
Praise for the earth mother.
Praise the father sun,
And sister moon..."
The Song of Praise, as L'Arauna called it, was closed by the howlings of two wolves, a small pup and a mature female. The two sat in a small clearing in the forest, a fire crackling in front of them. The two wolves sat silently, looking like two statues illuminated by the ghostly light of the flame. The larger of the two wolves went under a transformation until it resembled a human. "Zweihander, that was beautiful..." she whispered, picking up the little wolf pup and cradling him in her arms. "Soon, though, you'll be too big for me to hold!" Almost as if he understood her, Zweihander whined pitifully, as if he didn't want that day to come.
"Don't worry, though, my sweet little one..." L'Arauna said, smiling softly. "You will always be my little Zweihander, no matter what your size is..."
As the pair sat there silently, the only sound being the fire crackling, the sound of stumbling footsteps interrupted it, causing L'Arauna to look up. The figure of a man stumbled through the underbrush, coming to a stop in front of the fire.
Completely unafraid, L'Arauna looked up at the man and said. "Who are you?"
"I am...I am... I am Estoc, a soldier of the Order of Lumen... And--"
L'Arauna shook her head. "I did not ask what you were, my freind. I asked who you were. You have just told me what you were, Estoc, soldier of the Order of Lumen..." she said, blinking. The firelight made her look like a ghost, or a goddess.
"But...how do I know who I am?" Estoc asked, shocked.
"You must go to the east, go to the west,
The road is rocky and the way is far.
It's a dangerous trail, a difficult quest,
If you want know who you really are...
There are voices all around you,
To comfort and to guide you.
Fathers and teachers,
Powerful creatures.
And a voice that sings inside you.
Or you can turn back around,
Run along home.
Back to the place where your friends are.
Perhaps that is best,
You need the rest.
Who wants to go on a ridiculous quest?
Unless you want to know,
You truly want to know,
Unless you want to know...
Who you really are."
As L'Arauna sang, Zweihander howled softly every so often, adding to the beauty of the song. Estoc stood there, shocked. "What quest is this?!" he shouted, pointing to L'Arauna. "You are a witch, trying to kill me!"
Before L'Arauna could speak again, she watched as the man turned around and stumbled off.
