.Name. Adrian La Fayete the VII
.Nickname. He prefers to be called “Dulcimer” around his fellows of the Order simply for security sake. Being both the son of a wealthy family whose loyalties lie with Osirus, its important for him to keep a relative amount of personal information from the Order.
.Age. 25
.Birthday. November 24th
Race: Humen
Allegiance: Order of Lumen
Profession/Rank: Spy/Informant and self-proclaimed Chef/Medic of the Order of Lumen.
.Hair. Both as Adrian and “Dulcimer” he keeps his hair long and often in an array of styles from simple pony tails to French braids. It all depends on how much time he wishes to spend in the morning fussing with it. Although keeping two identities require a lot of changes from persona to persona, he hardly deals with the blonde color of his long hair.
.Eyes. Bright blue eyes belie a mischievous attitude and a wandering eye for women.
.Physical Description.
“Dulcimer” – While hanging around the Order, Dulcimer is dressed most often in a series of plated armor and clothing that is tight against his body. As a spy, he must be able to slip in and out of places without being noticed. This kind of bodily awareness must be coupled with smart clothing choices, such as those that Dulcimer makes. The plated armor merely covers his chest and abdomen (where vital organs are) and the tops of his forearms, going all the way down to the tops of his hands. This makes it easy for him to block arrows, knives, or any thrown sharp object. It obviously won’t do much about swords, but Dulcimer relies on his speed to get him out of those kinds of situations. As Dulcimer, he keeps his hair tied up or tied together so that loose strands are one thing he doesn’t have to worry about. Dulcimer is a tall man with a kind, playful face. Smiling is always something he does, no matter how horrible the situation. This also often makes him seem unreliable. However, Dulcimer is one of the most reliable people you’ll ever meet.
Adrian- As a son of a wealthy merchant, Adrian has an important role within his family, namely as appearance giver. Adrian leaves his tough and rugged persona “Dulcimer” back with the Order as he dons on the appearance of a weaker, quieter boy. With his father being as ill as he is, Adrian often must make castle appearances for him. Thus, its important to keep his two personas different from each other. From an armored member of the Order, to a peddling heir of a rich merchant, Adrian dons a much calmer look. Instantly becoming a well mannered and trained business man upon entering his house, Adrian places his hair high and free. He wears the family’s appointed uniform for him; a blue and white attire of pants, cloak, and brown gloves. A belt and boots accompany his transformation. His face loses its rugged appearance of Dulcimer and takes on a softer, less mischievous look.

• Princess Naahra- Despite being 8 years her senior, Adrian has always had a tremendous like for the princess. Not understanding quite why this is, he finds her fascinating and beautiful. As Adrian, he is one to see her as a “kind and gentle princess” while if you ask Dulcimer, he’ll tell you “she’s one hot babe with one messed up family.”
• Cooking- Dulcimer loves to cook. Luckily for the Order, he has managed to master several recipes with the help of a few cooks within his own manner. However, there are those nights he likes to “experiment” and conjure new recipes. He often makes young pages and privates into his personal guinea pigs before serving to the higher ranks.
• Laughter- Both Adrian and Dulcimer enjoy a good laugh. While Adrian is often laughing on the end of someone else’s joke, Dulcimer is the one making the jokes. He loves to make a fool out of himself and often finds himself walking around just to find someone to bug and make laugh.
• Misfits- Yup, you read it right. He loves misfits (aka Shujaa, Oren) simply for the way they are. Since they “don’t look normal”, Dulcimer finds them an extremely fascinating bunch of people, even if Shujaa doesn’t like humans. That won’t stop him from making friends and trying to hang out with them.
• Inque Ruthernberg/or any female for that matter- Dulcimer has a bad habit of being a major flirter. No matter the race, the age, or the looks, Dulcimer will flirt constantly and more annoyingly, he won’t stop unless he is acknowledged. And just to be weird, he will find some random male who is having a bad day and throw him some sort of flirting look or comment, just to be annoying. He has a special place in his heart for making Inque angry and annoying her.
.Dislikes.
• Alcohol- You DO NOT[/b] want to see a drunk Adrian or Dulcimer for that matter.
• Snails- Dulcimer has a very vibrant imagination and one night, he was able to full convince himself snails excrete acid. Thus, when you hear a shrill, girly scream, you can be pretty positive its Dulcimer facing down a snail.
• King Osirus and Queen Marcelle- If there is one time in his life that Adrian is serious, its when speaking about Osirus and Marcelle. He has a passionate hate for the way they are ruling Alyssus and the influence they have over his once relatively peaceful family. But not just for that, he also hates them for the way they treat Naahra and the Order.
• Silence- Yup, Dulcimer is the kind of person to make noise just to break silence, whether it be the starting of a conversation or just to make noise.
• Reading- Adrian is in no way unschooled or unwise. In fact, he has a very brilliant mind. However, as Dulcimer, he chooses not to use it very often, thus not caring much for books outside of his home.
.Goals.
• Win this war in the name of Lumen.
• Regenerate the good name of the La Fayete family.
• Become a top cook or chef.
• Talk to Princess Naahra and woo her.
.Fears.
• Dying a lonely death.
• Losing the war.
• Snails.
• Men dressed as women.
• Never getting to meet Naahra.
• Never being able to get married and have children.
.Personality. Well, what is there to say about Adrian that hasn’t been said already? All you really need to remember is that you’re dealing with a clumsy spy. Adrian himself is a kind and caring young man with a soft voice and a like for singing. He is caring son towards his ailing father and a very dutiful worker.
Dulcimer on the other hand is a free spirit bent on flirting with every known woman on the planet. Though a bit of a klutz and an annoyance, Dulcimer is the type of guy to jump into the pits of a volcano to save your kitty. He is loyal and dependable through and through. You ask him to do a favor, and he will attempt to accomplish it with at least a limb or two. He is the kind of guy to take an arrow for an innocent Knight of Osirus even. With a passion for fun, there is nothing we won’t try at least once. [/size]

.History. Adrian did not start out as a child with a dream of joining the Order. Oh no, in fact, he was very much a follower of Osirus at one point. He even wanted to become a page so as to train and become part of Osirus’ Knights so that one day, he might be Osirus’ favorite Knight. For many years, he worked towards this goal; thinking what Osirus was doing was good and rightful to a King of his power. He would cheer him on in parades and dance in his glory. That was until the day Osirus made a visit to his father’s work place. Adrian was ten or so, just starting his lessons as a page. But that day was special. That day was Adrian’s birthday and he was finally allowed to visit his father at work. He was practicing sword play by himself as his father worked with a client. Osirus came in, smiled gently at Adrian, then interrupted his father. Osirus had come unannounced and without soldiers. Behind him trailed a cold and eerie feeling.
That was the day Adrian’s father fell ill. What he did to anger Osirus, but his father has never had a good day since then. It didn’t take a genious to figure out the cause of Adrian’s father’s sickness was Osirus, and thus, Adrian began to hate him. His anger grew when he forced his mother out of doing the one thing she loved: teaching the young children of Du Aurella. But at that time, Adrian could do nothing to fight against Osirus and his cold reign. It wasn’t until he was seventeen was he visited by Lady Bassette in a dream. She explained to him how his power within the acknowledgement of Osirus could be used with the Order. As a man with power, he could play both sides of the card. So, with a new dream in mind, Adrian constructed his alter persona and joined the Order.
