.Name. Amadeus, son of Amado
.Nickname. Amadeus hates nicknames, but his companion often calls him Ama, something he has been forced to live with.
.Age. Druids age quite slowly, so while Amadeus appears only thirty, he is actually fifty years old, and has been around for a bit longer than that, having been a statue for the past couple generations; the result of a run in with a spell-happy god.
.Birthday. March 3
Race: Druid; The druids are a demonic race of humanoids with red eyes and ram horns. The druids are magically inclined, empowered by a dark god named Desiderio, who fuels their magical might and allows higher ranking druids who appease him to accomplish incredible magical feats, though he requires their utmost obedience in return, and demands that none take up weapons, as weapons can be brought against him, but magic he controls. Druids who appease the god rise in rank and are granted larger horns, in addition to greater magical aptitude, while younger druids, and those who are lacking in Desiderio’s favor, have much smaller horns.
Allegiance: Neutral
Profession/Rank: Amadeus has no job within society, but he is currently the protector of Ellie; further results of the afore-mentioned run in with that spell-happy god.
.Hair. Amadeus has the white hair of his kind, left hanging in long locks that reach to the small of his back; he hasn’t had much time to cut it of late, and it is rather scraggly.
.Eyes. Also average to his kind, Amadeus’s eyes are a mottled mixture of shades of red which bears a resemblance to lava.
.Physical Description. Amadeus is aggressively unremarkable in the terms of his kind, though he might stand out in a crowd of humans. His red eyes and horns alone would be enough to accomplish this, not to mention his tattoos and white hair; but in Druid society, all these things are perfectly normal, leaving Amadeus with just about no defining marks. He is slight of frame, standing a little over fight feet and weighing only about one hundred pounds, give or take a few, and though he has a somewhat tone body from a lot of walking and running—it’s hard to be out of shape when one doesn’t own a horse—he is hardly a world class body builder, and you won’t catch him lifting any swords or war hammers anytime soon; he’d probably pull something just trying. This, too, is common among the Druids, as just about every one of them is a mage as Desiderio demands; only a few dare oppose the god. Though he’s not trying to show off, Amadeus doesn’t often wear a shirt—a bad habit among males of his kind—and his wimpy muscles are clearly visible, though his slightly more toned legs are hidden beneath some deer-hide hunter’s pants.
His face and head are just as unremarkable as the rest of him; his hair is a bit longer and less cared for, but he can hardly help that; it is female Druids’ job to deal with haircutting, and he hasn’t seen any of late. His horns are sadly lacking, two thin little curls of less than two inches in diameter, and a dull brown in color, as is common. His tattoos, even, are unremarkable; they are unique to his family, a circular one upon his forehead and a stripe from one ear to the other, but his family has never been one for flaunting their markings, and the tattoos are a dull flesh-color only slightly darker than his skin, hardly standing out. His lava-red eyes are no different from any other Druids’ eyes, and though every druid has a unique set of shades of red, his set are too close together to make his eyes very remarkable. His lips are, like any other Druids’, thin and pale, only slightly lighter in hue than his skin, which, by the way, is light and lacking in a tan, as Druids do not tan even if they were to bake in the desert sun for weeks on end; their skin simply doesn’t take effect to it.
The only thing which might serve as to make Amadeus a little more remarkable would be the fact that, due to dabbling in certain forbidden magics, Amadeus has the ability to change forms into a Unicorn for short periods of time. Now, this isn’t your everyday run-of-the-mill, happy-go-lucky unicorn. This is a carnivorous rabid unicorn of doom. Sure, he has fur as white as his hair, with a pretty, flowing white mane and tail and flowing white feathers (longer hair around the hooves for those less than horse-savvy folks), and a majestic curled brown horn atop his head, but after that first cursory glance of “oh my gosh what a beautiful unicorn”, you’ll take notice of the glinting red, flowing lava eyes which are glaring in your direction, and the fact that his hooves, black under all that white fur, are rather sharp and are stamping rather forcefully into the ground, in addition to the unmistakably annoyed swishing of that pretty little tail of his and the angered flattening of his ears. Make no mistake, unicorn or not, Amadeus is still not someone to be messed with, and he takes offense to being called cute. But don’t worry, he can only hold this form for temporary amounts of time, only so long as his mana holds out, so all you have to do is climb a tree or run into the nearest sturdy building and wait, because afterwards he’ll be returned to his unremarkable human form with miniscule abilities in defensive and offensive magic. Besides, it’ll likely take a bit more than calling him cute to anger him enough to attack; he’s a coward unless you tick him off.

.Fears.
-Desiderio; more specifically, angering Desiderio. He knows full well that the god will punish those who anger him, and Amadeus has no wishes to go through another one of Desiderio’s punishments.
-Ellie getting killed, thus causing his own death; he’s not going to be ready to die until he get back to the Druids. Dieing outside the Druid lands and outside of the Desiderio’s favor is a frightening thing for a Druid, and Amadeus does not intend to find out what happens to a Druid who dies in such conditions.
-Desiderio’s punishments
-Getting wounded; Druids battle with magic which leaves no mark on the body, but now that he’s dealing with people who use weapons that do leave a mark, Amadeus is deathly afraid of fighting these people and getting wounded.
-Along those lines, Amadeus is a coward who is afraid to fight in any situation other than those when he’s ticked enough for anger to overcome fear. Any other time, he’ll run from battle, so long as he can get Ellie to run with him; if she stays, he’s forced to protect her, despite the fact that he’ll be scared out of his wits.
.Personality. Amadeus can easily be described as the quintessence of a spoiled child, complete with selfish outlook on life and an extreme adversity towards any sort of hard work. Raised in the Druid high society, it isn’t hard to figure out why Amadeus is like this, but it doesn’t exactly excuse his “everyone owes me everything” attitude. He’s quite prone to walking around an area as though he owns it, and the fact that his companion Ellie still thinks that he’s some kind of god probably isn’t helping Mr. Egotistical here. Used to getting everything he asks for, he’s quite irked when things don’t go his way, though he’s not likely to do anything other than rant about it; under that high-and-mighty god guise, Amadeus is a complete coward who won’t fight unless you tick him off enough to trigger that blinding temper of his.
Speaking of that blinding temper, boy is it fiery. Druids ain’t known for patience, and fiery tempers seem to run in the blood just as much as red eyes and white hair does. Amadeus is certainly no exception to this. His fear puts a damper on it most of the time, holding him back from doing anything horridly stupid, but keep pushing and all that anger will burn out his fear just long enough for him to get himself into trouble. Afterwards he’ll likely freak and run, but by then it’ll be too late. He’s actually quite lucky to be the coward that he is, otherwise that temper would get him in quite a bit more trouble than it already does; anger management isn’t something practiced by any of the Druids.
Speaking of things not practiced by the Druids, and thus not practiced by Amadeus, there’s a whole list which includes comforting others’ sorrows and being generally nice. Druids are selfish creatures following a dark god whose morals are less than extraordinary, and Druids follow that religiously. If they do something, it’s to help themselves and no one else. The only exception is the light bit of helping their own family, but if you study the motivations of those fathers doting upon their children, it’s only because it makes them look better and will later cause their children to owe them. Yep, pretty harsh, but that’s a Druid for you. Amadeus fits in quite nicely with his brethren: if he sees someone crying, he could care less; their problem, not his. Someone needs help, he’s likely to ignore it; he doesn’t owe them anything. And kindness is a foreign word to him and just about any other Druid; he’ll not be caught dead being nice to someone, at least not sincerely. He’s been known to act nice a couple times just to get his way, but again, it’s always for the wrong reasons.
Now, I’ll bet you’re wondering if Amadeus is going to turn into one of those clichéd “soft-and-gooey center under a rough-and-tough exterior” characters. Well, don’t worry about that; Amadeus is selfish me-first Mr. Egotistical all the way through. Sure, he protects Ellie, but good deeds cancel out when they’re done for the wrong reasons. Amadeus is quite afraid of dieing anytime soon, so he’s going to protect Ellie, because if she dies, so does he, and that would be the extreme of his not getting his way. Sure, he’s likely to change over time; anyone spending as much time as he does with a girl like Ellie is likely to change, but until that point, Mr. Egotistical has staked his claim and is here to stay.
