She place her foot on the ground once more. She had to find the sword, if she didn't... She'd fail Aden, she couldn't yet. No... She grabbed the cloth from her eyes and put it in her boot. She walked away from the heat, the sand. Which she didn't like at all. She came to a forest.
Finally, darkness. She walked inside, to stop, the first thing she noticed was the air, it was much more pure then the hot air in that pit of sand she had to live in. She moved farther into the forest, noticing the second thing, the trees.
Everything seemed to light, as if everything was a light. She slowly began to walk along the small path that lead her way. She began to follow it, each step bringing her farther into the darkness, the branches over her head covering her from the sun, which she was able to enjoy. She looked at the ground, few patches of light were able to leak from in between the tree branches. She stopped moving forward. She stared there at the ground, looking down.
She jumped upwards and kicked off of a tree, she flew to the side and she kicked off of a branch, her feet not making a sound as she hit against it, she flew off of the branch and she landed up higher. She grabbed a small branch breaking off of another. She threw herself up and kicked off the trunk, she grabbed her weapon, which seemed to come out of no where.
She brought her hand forward and the long weapon threw out in front of her the tree branch snapped and fell to the ground. She ran up the branch. She grabbed the top branch once she got up and sat on it looking out at the forest, it was easier to cover more ground up higher. She sat up there, her purple hair blowing in front of her face. Her lips slowly twitching up at the sides. One thing her father taught her was never to smile on a mission.
She wanted to change what he said, show him he was wrong, and she was good for something. She brought her lips up smiling. Her hair in her face, and her eyes sparkling in the small patch of light falling over her face. For once... She was able to enjoy the gentle warmth of the sun towering on top of her.
She looked to the side, seeing something. She got up and lunged forward, grabbing a tree branch to the next tree, she continued this and got farther and farther into the light forest. If that was the traveler... She had to catch up. She stopped to see it was nothing more then a dear.
She let out a sigh and flipped down. She let herself fall head first. She flipped around and grabbed a tree branch before lightly hitting the ground. She began to walk forward. She hated today, she didn't know why. Maybe it was because she didn't feel like hunting down that traveler and having to find him... Or her. Tallan wasn't sure which one.
She wished she had just a little bit more detail on the mission. She shook her head and continued to move forward. The quietness and peacefulness was soothing, and very nice.
