The Rules
Out of Character (OoC);; Rules in General
1 - When joining, the staff of L.o.A. requests that you change your display name to your first and last name of your character before you post your application.
2 - You are allowed to have up to three characters. Count it. 1... 2... THREE. We’d like to have an equal amount of genders on this forum so please make two out of three male or female.
(If you want more than three characters please PM an admin and they will decide)
3 - Literacy is a must. Please push your literacy skills to the limit, of course we don’t want you having to spell check your post 24/7. The occasional slip of the fingers and your words become ilke thsi is fine but please don’t make it frequent. Here at L.o.A, we do not have a minimum word limit per post but we do ask that you try your best to make at least 2 well written paragraphs. 1 is fine since everyone does get writer’s block.
4 - This forum is rated mature. There will be violence, swearing, and romance allowed in character. However, if you feel the need to take part in carnal activities please move it into Pms or have a warning in your title. Not everyone wants to read what’s going on.
5 - You will respect and be mature to all of the members on the board. Not only the admins, ALL of the members. If you have a argument with another please have it in PMs, not everyone wants to know what you are fighting about and if you cannot resolve it please PM an admin. If you do have it in the C-box and it goes out of hand, a admin will disable the C-box for a certain amount of time and give both of you warnings. Do not trouble everyone else on the board because of your argument.
6 - Don’t ask to join role-plays. It disrupts the flow and you’ll probably be eaten alive by the other role-players. Unless it states that this is a private one, do not ask.
7 - Feel free to start your own role-play or non-role-play thread. Don’t feel that you’re thread will be ignored, someone is bound to join you. However, if it is spam, it’ll be deleted.
8 - No depressed or stereotypically put ’EMO’ characters. This is a medieval era role-play board. I don’t even think ’emo’ was real back then. (I, myself, will not accept any applications with a depressing sob story.)
9 - When deciding your race please be considerate and do not create something out there. Like a dragon mixed with a poodle, seahorse, and a tiger. The original knights of Osirus are the following: Israfel, Lourette, and Laties. You are required to make a description of the creature and put it on the Various Races page so others may see.
The Shade is a collection of demons, vampires, and other dark creatures. So if your creature falls underneath that please put it as Shade; Vampire
10 - Admin words are law.
In Character;; Roleplay Rules
1 - Please do not GOD-MODE. God-mode is where you control someone else character’s thoughts, movements, history, reactions, emotions, etc. It’s annoying and several of us will not tolerate it.
2 - Please refrain from killing each other off without the role-player’s permission.
